Tom Cox Intermediate is named in honor of Tom Cox Sr., a dedicated homebuilder and community leader in The Woodlands. Beyond constructing hundreds of homes, Mr. Cox was deeply involved in numerous civic initiatives, including the Woodlands Lions Club, the Rotary Club, Interfaith of The Woodlands, and the YMCA. He played a key role in school bond elections, library funding efforts, and housing support for families in need. Mr. Cox passed away in 2022, but his legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to improving the lives of others continues to inspire our school community.
