Today marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! Conroe ISD is proud to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history and achievements of our district and the United States.

In recognition of Texas First Responders Day, Conroe ISD honors our police department and all of Montgomery County’s law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel. We appreciate their commitment to keeping our students and staff safe.

Today, on Patriot Day, we honor the memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the remarkable bravery of those who responded in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania.

Every chat, no matter how small, builds a more supportive and understanding society. Together, we can make a difference and prioritize suicide prevention, ensuring everyone gets the help they need. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay

Make plans to join us for the District Art Show Saturday, September 13, from 9 AM-3 PM at the Deane L. Sadler Administration Building. The open house features over 400 pieces of artwork from Conroe ISD students K-12! You can also visit the virtual gallery at http://tiny.conroeisd.net/oX6jZ.

Welcome to Namesake Monday!
Irons Junior High is named after Gerald D. Irons Sr.—an NFL linebacker, businessman, community servant, and man of faith and integrity. He believed in excellence through discipline and leadership through service.
At Irons JH, we don’t just carry his name—we live by his example.
