This past Friday, a German delegation from the German State Department commemorated our school as an official International German Partner School. This is a designation that only 14 schools in the USA have, and we are the only school in Texas to have this designation. Based on the rigor of our curriculum, the number of activities that we offer through our program, and the passion of the TWHS German teachers.

Chemistry students work together to piece together the first 20 elements of the periodic table to observe patterns and trends with valence electrons, energy levels, and atomic radius. It was fun to watch them recognize patterns, make connections, and see the periodic table come to life right on their desks.

The Conroe ISD College Fair will be taking place on Monday, October 6th from 6-8pm at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe with pre-sessions taking place at 5:30. We will have over 175 colleges for students to visit that evening to help in planning for life after high school. There will also be informational sessions running throughout the evening about general admissions and financial aid tips. See the College and Career Canvas page for more information.
